The book that changed my life . . .

Our prayer brings great joy and gladness to the Lord. He wants it and awaits it. So he says this: "Pray inwardly, even though you find no joy in it. I really don't have the patience to read a book. That's why I’m really having a bad time on how I will start my blog. Luckily, I have found something rare in our house. Perhaps, it is a book that many of us use. The book is entitled "Straight from the Heart" by our beloved parish priest Fr. Mario Jose C. Ladra. It contains compilations of prayers made especially for prayer companionship. Anyone can read it, not only in times that we are in pain and seeking the guidance of our Creator. By just browsing it once a day we can get some words of encouragement and enlightenment. It changed my life because I believe that through prayers God is guiding me everyday, thus giving me enough strength and courage to face the daily challenges of life.
